We didn’t start Battlefront Ministries because we had a perfect marriage.

We started it because we didn’t.

We’re Brian and Heather Carroll. We’ve been married for 28 years and are the parents of five amazing kids. And somewhere along the way, in the real and sometimes painful middle of marriage, we discovered something: the greatest threat to a family is not hardship — it’s division.

Like many couples, we walked through seasons where misunderstanding, disappointment, impatience, and hurt tried to drive a wedge between us. There were moments when we felt alone. Moments when we quietly wondered if we were disqualified from the purpose God had for us because our marriage wasn’t “easy.”

We learned firsthand how quickly unity can erode — not usually through one catastrophic event, but through small compromises, unspoken resentment, pride, fear, and exhaustion. Division rarely announces itself. It creeps.

And we realized something that changed everything:

The Story of Battlefront Ministries

The battle isn’t against each other. The battle is for unity — against everything that tries to divide what God has joined together.

That revelation reframed our struggles. We stopped seeing one another as opponents and started recognizing the real enemy of our home: anything that threatened covenant, connection, and oneness.

God met us in that place.

He didn’t waste our struggles. He used them. He refined us. He taught us that peace cannot be forced through performance or punishment. Unity cannot be manufactured through control. It has to be fought for with humility, forgiveness, truth, and perfected love.

Out of that journey, Battlefront Ministries was born.

We believe marriage is a battlefront — not because spouses are enemies, but because unity is precious and constantly under attack. The family is the frontline of faith, identity, and legacy. If the enemy can divide a home, he weakens generations.

So, we said yes to the assignment.

Today, we come alongside churches to help strengthen marriages before crisis hits and to help restore them when it does. We work to build cultures where couples don’t feel isolated in their struggle. We help churches create intentional pathways for support, discipleship, and healing.

Our heart is simple:

• Protect unity.

• Strengthen covenant.

• Equip couples to fight the right battle.

• Help families thrive, not just survive.

Battlefront isn’t about pretending marriage is easy. It’s about acknowledging that unity is worth fighting for. It’s about standing shoulder to shoulder and saying, “We will not let division win in our home.”

Our story is still being written.

But this much we know:

What once felt like disqualification became commissioning.
What once felt like private pain became public purpose.
And what once threatened to divide us became the very ground where God built unity.

This is our battle — and we’re fighting for oneness.
